In 1980, the US Mint started adding the “P” to the cons minted in Philadelphia. For some reason, some of the 1982-P dimes didn’t get the “P” stamped on them. These coins in MS-65 condition are fetching upwards of $65 to $200. The apparent difference in the price is for coins with strong strikes versus a weak strike. This is an error you could possibly find in your hunt for coins!
